The process begins with the scanning of your original art work. We have special rates for artists ordering IRIS Giclée prints. The special rate for flat art up to 22"x30" is $50, up to 30"x40" is $80. Call if your original is larger than 30"x40".

While we prefer to scan from your original unframed artwork, we also specialize in drum scanning. It is possible to use transparencies (CHROMES, large format preferred), slides or photographs. We do not work from color negatives.

We discourage large reproductions from 35mm slides, for fidelity's sake.

The standard scanning rates; for a 4-color reflective photo is $50 (original input up to 11"x17"), for a 4 -color slide or transparency (original input up to 8" x 10"), it is $50.*

A black and white reflective print is $15.* (original up to 11"x17") while a black and white slide or negative would be $25*.

Output of calibrated original scans to CD, in device independent "LAB" format are available upon request, and may require additional fees of up to $.50/mb.

Specialized imaging services such as repair and restoration as well as silhouetting are billed at a $60. hourly rate, $15. minimum.

* images are digitized at a sampling rate to produce up to 1/2 sheet output size (20" x 30" approx). For full sheet sized scans, (larger than 20" x 30" output size) call for quotation.
